PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
That pretty much sums up our week! We really worked on fine-tuning our reading, writing, math, and basic classroom routines this week, and we are well on our way to becoming independent workers. We also practiced using our "Cool Tools". The Cool Tools are what we all use for safe, respectful, and responsible behavior in the halls and lunchroom, and on the playground and bus. Each time a student is caught using great behavior they are awarded with a Train Ticket. We collect the tickets and use them toward classroom rewards. We earned our first 100 tickets already! This week we will be introducing our intervention routines and working with different teachers during Train Time.I will send out another newsletter next week, but here is an example of the spelling pattern we will be studying this week!
